Mr. Price's practice involves the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide spectrum of intellectual property and commercial matters. Mr. Price has developed an emphasis in patent infringement litigation, trade secret litigation, injunctions, and the selection, retention, and preparation of expert witnesses. Mr. Price has been named a "Texas Rising Star" in the area of Commercial Litigation by Texas Super Lawyers and Texas Monthly Magazine for the previous three years.
Mr. Price has substantial experience in cases involving intellectual property disputes including patent claims, trade secrets, trademark, unfair competition, and copyright. He also has extensive experience in commercial litigation, including business torts (including unfair competition, misappropriation, tortious interference with contracts and/or prospective business relationships, fraud, misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty and deceptive trade practices), commercial landlord-tenant disputes, employment disputes, complex real estate disputes, securities fraud, insurance code violations and general breach of contract claims.
Mr. Price has served as a key attorney for several multi-million dollar disputes. For example, Mr. Price recently served as one of the primary counsel responsible for securing a multi-million dollar award following a three-week arbitration on a breach of contract claim in Seattle, Washington, and as one of the key counsel in a trial regarding theft of trade secrets and unfair competition claims.
